2024 Obesity Summit and CQI Fair Registration is Open!

Obesity Summit Save the Date

Health care providers, hospital administrators, and other professionals interested in treating obesity in children, adolescents and adults are invited to attend this free event.  

The Summit will feature content experts who will present on various areas of obesity management and will allow attendees to discuss the latest and best practices for behavior modification, dietary changes, and pharmacological approaches.  

Learning Objectives

  • Understand adverse consequences of obesity on health and well-being.
  • Understand evidence-based weight management treatment options, including lifestyle change interventions, pharmacotherapy, and bariatric surgery.   
  • Identify opportunities to improve obesity treatment in general practice settings.

CQI Fair

In addition to the main session, there will be a CQI fair highlighting quality improvement efforts from the Michigan Collaborative Quality Initiatives that have improved patient safety and outcomes across a wide variety of health care focus areas including cardiology, surgery, oncology, hospital medicine, population health, and much more.

Date and Location

The 2024 Obesity Summit will be held Friday, September 20, 2024, 8am – 4pm, at the Suburban Collection Showplace (46100 Grand River Ave, Novi, MI 48374).  Registration and breakfast will be held from 7-8am with the summit beginning promptly at 8am.
